Cowboy Made and Cowboy Tested

 Born on the Central Coast and raised on a remote ranch in the back-country east of Santa Maria. With only several trips to town a year, the ranch was plenty sufficient. Raising and growing most of our needs, my Great Uncle still farming with horses and packing with mules, lead to my love of the back country.

Repairing broken harnesses and riding saddles introduced me to leather work. Later, tutored by Smokey Yanez, a good cowboy and leather artist, and then by Art Hugenberger, saddle maker to the Stars, my interest in carving and stamping leather grew.

It has become a paying hobby and I try to spend as much time at my leather bench as possible. I make custom pieces to order and enjoy the craft and solitude.
